"Terrestrial Morphologies" is a formal exploration of landscape patterns through high resolution satellite ../images. The selected areas (marked with their geo-locations) depict a set of mostly rural landscapes which are altered by human interventions such as agriculture or infrastructures. The main focus of this collection lies in the connection between land-use and topographic features of the landscape and how this is expressed through unique patterns. The morphologies are not only dependent on the topographic limitations but also on climate conditions, cultural and technological frameworks as well as global and local demands.
